Q: Is QR Studio free to use? A: Yes. QR Studio is free to download and use. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or hidden fees.

Q: Does QR Studio require an internet connection? A: No. All core features — scanning and generating codes — work fully offline.

Q: Does QR Studio show ads? A: No. The app is completely ad-free.

Q: Do I need to create an account? A: No. QR Studio does not require any account or sign-up.

Scanning

Q: Why isn’t the scanner reading my code? A: Try the following:

Q: Can QR Studio scan barcodes as well as QR codes? A: Yes. QR Studio supports both QR codes and a wide range of 1D and 2D barcodes.

Q: Can I scan multiple codes in a row? A: Yes. After a successful scan, you can immediately point the camera at the next code.

Generating

Q: What types of QR codes can I generate? A: QR Studio supports URL, text, email, phone, SMS, contact (vCard), Wi-Fi, and location codes.

Q: Can I add a logo to my generated QR code? A: This feature is on our roadmap. Stay tuned!

Q: What format is the generated image saved in? A: Generated codes are saved as PNG images.

Privacy & Data

Q: Where is my scan history stored? A: Locally on your device. We do not upload or sync your scan history to any server.

Q: How do I clear my scan history? A: Open the app, go to Settings → History → Clear History. You can also delete individual entries by swiping them.

Q: Does the app access my camera in the background? A: No. The camera is only accessed while the scanner screen is open and visible.
